OUR PEDAGOGY
Explorosity Education is committed to providing the best Education for your young child. Explorosity Education is a setting that thrives on the awe, wonder and magic of childhood. Staff become part of children's learning, igniting their curiosity.
We have studied many theories and ideologies in early year's provision and have merged sprinklings of each to create our unique and passionate setting. Our setting promotes 'Hygge' and 'Zen' whereby we create spaces our children can feel safe and relaxed. They can become absorbed within their surroundings fueling their fire for learning.
We believe in Nicholson's theory of 'Loose part play'. Our environment promotes the use of loose parts to promote problem solving and theoretical reasoning in our children. Loose parts can be anything that we consider to be 'open ended', for example a tyre could be a boat, a car, a paintbrush, a swing, a stepping stone to a magical castle ... anywhere a little imagination can take them. We also encourage 'authentic resources'. These are resources that are a little different or perhaps old, things that again challenge children's perspectives and curiosity.
Ferre Leaveres theory on emotional health and well-being also underpins our ethos and pedagogy. We measure children's well-being and involvement levels in order to discover how support all of our individual children in unlocking their individual and unique personalities and styles.
