Forest School

Explorosity believe in a rich and natural environment. To complement our beautiful and homely interior of the setting we have developed our 'Forest School'. This is inspired by Margaret McMillian's – a great nursery school pioneer.

Our Forest School is a very naturally developed area set unusually in the middle of Waltham village. This area benefits from very back to basic methodologies of living and learning.

Children will build on our ethos of sustainability – learning how to grow and maintain food and crops. They will experience how to create fires and the safety around these. They will have opportunities to create structures and dens from branches and the natural environment.
