Welcome to Kindergarten Two Room
Children will move into Kindergarten two in the term in which they turn three years old. This room has capacity for 20 children. The ratio in this room is a 1 adult to every 5 children.
The atmosphere in Kindergarten Two Room is warm, playful, and nurturing. We combine structured activities with plenty of free play so children can explore, ask questions, and build confidence. Our teachers offer gentle guidance, clear routines, and lots of encouragement, helping every child feel seen and valued.
Each day, we focus on building strong social skills, such as taking turns, and solving small problems together. Through stories, songs, and simple games, children develop early literacy skills like recognizing letters, listening carefully, and expressing their ideas. Fun counting activities, puzzles, and hands-on materials support early numeracy, helping children understand numbers, shapes, and patterns in a natural way.
Creativity is at the heart of our room. Children paint, draw, build, and role-play, using their imagination to explore the world around them. We also encourage independence with simple tasks, such as tidying up, choosing activities, and trying new things on their own, always with caring support nearby. In Kindergarten Two Room, we work together with families to create a joyful first school experience that prepares children for the next steps in their learning journey.
